The 3 horses that we rescued from Havasupai have been loving life at the ranch!  Duke, Cinder and Dawn are putting on weight and getting to relax!  Dawn had such sad eyes when we first got her into our care.  She is now spunky and runs around like a mad woman when it’s feeding time.  Cinder and Duke both had hooves so grown that they were curling.  We have worked with our wonderful farrier and vet to correct these issues.  There is still more work to do with Duke and his front hooves, and Cinder is still having some issues with her back legs but they are in much better shape than when they arrived!

This is the image we were sent by some hikers in the canyon. They begged us to help. It took us a while to raise the funds to go and find the horses and rescue them. Our ranch is 6 1/2 hours from Havasupai Falls.
