On Jan. 18th, while we were heading back from a Parelli Natural Horsemanship Clinic, a car slammed into the back of our horse trailer where Einstein was riding. He was severely hurt and ended up in a mangled heap on the floor of the trailer with blood, his legs facing one way and his neck and head twisted backwards. It was horrible. We suspect that he has some neck and spine injuries. He is in a lot of pain. We have had the vet out every day and we are waiting for him to get well enough so we can transport him to the hospital.
He is unable to move in his stall. We've wrapped his legs and we have put his water and food high enough for him, so he does not have to bend his neck.
